When IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) manifests in the chest, it can affect multiple compartments, and characteristically so. While the diagnosis of IgG4-RD involves integrating clinical, laboratory, imaging, and histopathologic findings, Drs. Katz and Sharma discuss two cases, one presenting with respiratory symptoms and the other one without, to demonstrate how thoracic CT imaging was critical to ruling in a diagnosis of IgG4-RD for both.
